Each year the Challenge, delivered with the support of public libraries, motivates over 700,000 children to keep reading to build their skills and conīŦdence.

This year The Reading Agency have partnered with children's charity Youth Sport Trust  for Read, Set, Read! a challenge focused around reading, sport and play.  This year's aims is to keep children's minds and bodies active over the summer break, empowering young people to forge new connections with others and unleash the power of play, sport and physical activity through reading.

The Challenge begins on Saturday 15th July and runs until Saturday 16th September with the aim that children will read 6 books throughout the holidays.

We are delighted that the number of children taking part has been increasing greatly year on year and hope even more will participate this year.  I think the added bonus of our tremendous bounce reward really inspires them!

This year, every child that is able to show that they have read the required number of books will be rewarded with an amazing session on the inflatable assault course.  So.... Ready, Set, Read..... BOUNCE!
