FOSPS FIREWORKS EXTRAVAGANZA FRIDAY 5TH NOVEMBER!
The nights are drawing in… and that means not long ’til fireworks.
We’d love to make this year an extra brilliant event with a BBQ, Bar and more so please pop the date into your diary if you haven’t yet (remember, remember the 5th November!) Gates will open at 5.15pm and fireworks start at 6.30pm.
Tickets will cost the same as 2 years ago - £3 for all tickets if you buy in advance (under primary school age go free) £3.50 on the gate.
We are encouraging as many people who can to buy in advance as tickets will be limited - just to avoid too much over crowding (though there should be plenty to go around)… and you save money too.
With this in mind, there is a ticket order form attached. We will also be selling tickets in the playground in advance (dates tbc - watch this space & FOSPS Facebook) So why not get your order in early and start looking forward to it!
As usual we can’t make this event happen without your help so if you can possibly help out with setting up on the day of the 5th November, or you wouldn’t mind sparing half an hour or so at the event to help on a stall, or you can spare a few minutes at the end of the evening to help clear…. that would be FANTASTIC!
There is a volunteer sheet attached so please do fill that out if you can. Alternatively please drop us an email to FOSPS@swanmoreapps.com to let us know you’re keen. The more the merrier (and it is fun - really!)
If you can’t spare any time to help on the day, perhaps you can bake some cakes for the cake stall? Anything you like but please no nuts and if they can be cut into portions and wrapped in cling film with a note detailing ingredients that would be great. (We can do this bit if you can’t :-))
There will also be a ‘Be bright, be seen’ non-uniform day on Friday 15th October in exchange for chocolate for the Chocolate Tombola (no nuts and in date please!)
Most of all, please do come along and enjoy the Fireworks Extravaganza! Bring family and tell your friends too… We’re hoping to make it a fabulous evening.
Thanks a million, as always, from the FOSPS Committee
