Today Year 1 were learning about the religion Hinduism. They learnt that Hindus worship lots of Gods. Mrs Clafferty and Mrs Singh came in to introduce the God Ganesha. The children were all so engaged and curious - they asked so many fabulous questions. We learnt how Ganesh got his elephant head. From listening to the story about Ganesha, we explored our p4C question 'Should Shiva have chopped Ganesha's head off?' We did some Ganesha Yoga and then completed some Ganesha-themed arts and crafts.
