On World religion day Year 3 explored our big question of how a Sikh's religion affects their everyday life.

At the beginning of the day we had a video call with a Sikh school in the UK, and the children and teachers shared what their daily life would look like in school and in their Gurdwara - their sacred place of worship.  The children were fascinated to see how many similarities there were between being a Christian and being a Sikh!  They were also able to ask questions about the differences there may be between a Sikh and a Christian.  During the rest of the day the children explored the big question through craft, drama, a quiz, and music.  What a memorable day!
