Pumpkin competition
Every child was given a pumpkin seed and some growing instructions. Despite a difficult year nationally for commercial pumpkin growers, Swanmore Primary saw some impressive entries with the winner achieving a weight of 28.5 Kilos.
We would like to thank Suttons Seeds for donating the seeds.
Tasting Day
The green team is building up a freezer full of various recipes that they have cooked ready for a grand whole school tasting day in spring 2008.
Scarecrow competition
In the summer term we hope to invite children to make a scarecrow and the winners will be on display in the garden.
