Curriculum - ICT
We aim to:
Encourage the children to be knowledgeable about the nature of information: comfortable with the new technology and able to exploit its potential through their use of ICT across the curriculum.
Provide a foundation of skills to enable each child to develop their ICT capability in their continuing education.
Teach children to use ICT equipment and software confidently and purposefully; to communicate and handle information; and to support their problem solving, recording and expressive work.
We currently have a 33 workstation ICT suite with networked computers in each classroom. All classrooms are fitted with interactive whiteboards. There are several laptops for SEN use.
We have a computerised library system for use by pupils.
